Chiropractors are primary (portal of entry) healthcare professionals that have completed their doctor of chiropractic program at an accredited chiropractic college. They are a regulated health care providers that must attain a license to practice in Canada through the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board. Alberta requires a minimum 25 continuing education hours per year to maintain an active license. Chiropractors can order diagnostic imaging in Alberta and have access to Netcare.

What to Expect at Your Chiropractic Visit:

When you come to Dr. Terlesky for chiropractic treatment you will receive one-on-one care in a private treatment room. The Dr. Terlesky will conduct a detailed assessment of your condition and help you see and feel the areas of your body that are not moving optimally.

 

The doctor will determine the best treatment plan that will provide the fastest relief with long-term results. This may include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, manual therapies, laser, myofascial release technique, and exercise prescription.

 

Your chiropractic doctor will explain everything as the session progresses so that you learn more about your condition, understand the assessment findings and feel safe and comfortable with the treatment techniques provided.
