To complement the use of hands on chiropractic care and active release techniques soft tissue therapy, Dr. Terlesky introduced Class IV Deep Tissue Laser Therapy to Calgary in 2008 for it’s ability to stimulate/accelerate healing and modulate pain.
Deep Tissue Laser Therapy is a painless modality that helps stimulate/accelerate healing at a cellular level to tissues that have been injured/stagnant/dysfunctional. The technology of Deep Tissue Laser Therapy continues to grow and with it the applications have expanded. Due to its successful outcomes, Class IV Deep Tissue Laser Therapy is much more common now than in 2008. We are proud to have been a pioneering entity in bringing this modality to Alberta.
In keeping up with the recent trends in care, Dr. Terlesky recently became certified in Functional Movement Techniques (F.M.T.) and Rocktape Kinesiotaping.
In assessing each patient, Dr. Terlesky, will address the individual patient’s needs and comfort level in selecting the care most appropriate for each patient and their condition.
